The following Cisco Meraki Z-Series Security & SD-WAN Appliances are ideal for teleworkers with of up 5 devices considering a Unified Threat Management (UTM) solution for distributed sites, campuses or datacenter VPN concentration. Since the Z3/Z3C/Z4/Z4C are 100% cloud-managed, installation and remote management are simple. The Z3/Z3C/Z4/Z4C have a comprehensive suite of network services, eliminating the need for multiple appliances. These services include SD-WAN capabilities, application-based firewalling, web caching, LTE cellular failover WIFI5/WIFI6 and Auto-VPN and SD-WAN features are available on all teleworker models. The Z3-Series does not support Advanced Security Licnese features. Teleworkers requiring a device supporting faster throughput, Advanced Security License features such as Content Filtering, Virus/Malware/Ransomware Detection & Prevention and Intrusion Detection & Prevention are encouraged to deploy the Meraki Z4/Z4C or a MX - Small Branch device with the respective Z4/MX Advanced Security Licnese option.
