The following Cisco Meraki Z-Series Security & SD-WAN Appliances are ideal for teleworkers with of up 5 devices considering a Unified Threat Management (UTM) solution for distributed sites, campuses or datacenter VPN concentration. Since the MX is 100% cloud managed, installation and remote management are simple. The MX has a comprehensive suite of network services, eliminating the need for multiple appliances. These services include SD-WAN capabilities, application-based firewalling, web caching, 4G cellular failover and more. Auto VPN and SD-WAN features are available on our teleworker hardware. The Z-Series does not support provide Advanced Security Features, Teleworkers requiring a device supporting split tunnel Advanced Security features such as content filtering, virus and malware detection and prevention and intrusion detection and prevention are encouraged to deploy a MX - Small Branch device.
