Cisco Meraki today announced the introduction of two new 802.11ac Wave 2 wireless access points designed to allow organizations to rapidly ramp up cloud managed wireless networks: the MR33 and MR30H. Both APs are available for order and shipping beginning December 6th. 

MR30H

Designed from the ground up for next-generation deployments in hotel rooms, university residences, and other multi-dwelling units, the MR30H provides a robust and powerful feature set, including:

• 4-port gigabit ethernet switch supporting an 802.3af Power over Ethernet output

• Integrated Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) radio
• Dedicated radio for WIDS/WIPS and dynamic RF optimization

MR33

The MR33 is an ideal choice for deploying entry-level cloud-managed wireless in offices, schools, hospitals, retail shops, hotels, and other venues where rapid deployment and ease of management are critical. The MR33 provides:

• Dual-band, 802.11ac Wave 2, 2x2:2 MU-MIMO, quad-radio architecture
• Up to 1.3 Gbps aggregate dual-band frame rate
• Out-of-the-box location analytics for measuring visits, dwell time, and repeat visitor rates
